  • I've tried almost everything. I have a buzzcut but gets extremely flakey. I rotate between cold, hot, lukewarm water.

My derma recommended T-gel, T-sal and Nizoral, but those helped a bit not that much.

    Things that didn't work:
    NoPoo
    Co-washing
    BBB
    ACV
    Tea Tree oil
    Baking soda paste
    Nizoral
    T-gel
    T-sal
    Aloe gel
    Scalp massager/comb

I recently heard that Afghani hair oil or Listerine would help, but I am still on the fence.

KTT help out a brother. I don't care how much it costs, money is not an issue at this point. I just want these boys to vanish or be sparse.

I scrub gently and leave it on for around 2 mins (that's what they say to leave it at). I stopped using shampoo 3 months ago. Just co-washing

How long have you been using the nizoral for @op usually it can take up to 4-6 weeks to see full improvement washing 3 times per week. the other options for malassezia fungi are usually head and shoulders (zinc pyrythione) or selsun. if otc isn鈥檛 working they may be able to prescribe a stronger anti fungal cream to apply to the scalp.
