I've tried almost everything. I have a buzzcut but gets extremely flakey. I rotate between cold, hot, lukewarm water.
My derma recommended T-gel, T-sal and Nizoral, but those helped a bit not that much.
Things that didn't work:
NoPoo
Co-washing
BBB
ACV
Tea Tree oil
Baking soda paste
Nizoral
T-gel
T-sal
Aloe gel
Scalp massager/comb
I recently heard that Afghani hair oil or Listerine would help, but I am still on the fence.
KTT help out a brother. I don't care how much it costs, money is not an issue at this point. I just want these boys to vanish or be sparse.
These cacs can’t give u solid hair advice boss
If u already talked to ya derma and he gave u a formula then u should jus listen to him
maybe ur scalp dry

You might have psoriasis. I had his issue last year and got diagnosed
It is not sure how to fix it correctly
maybe work some coconut oil into it so that it get to your scalp let it sit for some time and then rinse it out
idk tho bc I have no idea of your hair type

Yeah Ive done the whole reddit thing for my scalp issues. Mostly they say not washing your hair or put oils. Ive tried those tho
if u drink dairy, give that a kick and see if it helps
i was lucky, got the same diagnosis as you but if i just use nizoral once a week im cooling
u rly scrub the crap outta ya scalp when u using shampoo/conditioner right? using a lot of force really helped me. i had to work the f*** outta the product into my scalp to see positive changes

I scrub gently and leave it on for around 2 mins (that's what they say to leave it at). I stopped using shampoo 3 months ago. Just co-washing

Did you tell your doctor it didn’t work? You seemed to have tried all the right stuff even though we have different hair types if looks like you know what ur doing. I just get dry scalp I don’t have a condition
before you get out of the shower rinse out shampoo in cold water
try ketocanozle shampoo too @op
brother that is dandruff
How long have you been using the nizoral for @op usually it can take up to 4-6 weeks to see full improvement washing 3 times per week. the other options for malassezia fungi are usually head and shoulders (zinc pyrythione) or selsun. if otc isn’t working they may be able to prescribe a stronger anti fungal cream to apply to the scalp.
