Flockaveli released on October 5, 2010 following two hot street singles O Let's do it and Hard in the paint which paved the way, along with a number of mixtapes for Waka Flockas debut album Flockaveli Many would say this is a classic album and this revisit is to confirm that as true or false.
TLDR: Relisten to the album and give us a take. Classic? Influential?

Track 1: Bustin' at 'Em- Album starts out in a way that doesn't accurately represent whats to come. The production by 808 mafias: Lex Luger and Southside aren't what you'd expect from them with a more crunk influence as opposed to their classic trap music sound, but eventually you find yourself giving into the energy of the track with its murderous guitar riffs. Flocka compliments the track with a nice flow and word play, but the hook is off putting at first. But again as time goes on you find yourself bow, bow, bow'ing along with him.

Track 2: "Hard in da Paint"- A track we all know, and may or may not love. One of the first of many classic Lex luger beats. The beat comes in ominously slow and intimidating then a sudden drop "I go hard in the motherfucking paint, nigga " Waka comes in with classic gangsta lyrics that would remind one of a classic Ice Cube track. Honestly my words cant do this justice, song goes in like nothing.

Track 3: "TTG (Trained to Go)"- Also produced by Lex Luger TTG comes with a different energy compared to the two prior tracks. Featuring French Montana and several Brick Squad affiliates the collection of different artist all compliment each-other with differing flows, voices, and lyrics regarding robbery, murder, gang-banging and all the usual gangsta rap topics.

Track 4: "Bang"- Rip in Slim Dunkin. "Bang" featuring YG hootie and Slim dunkin who are also Brick squad artist, is similar to TTG in topic and production. Flocka's flow on this track along with Hooties and Slim is on point. Lyrics nothing to write home about, but it does its job.

Track 5: "No Hands"- Another radio hit along with O lets do it and hard in the paint feature Wale and Roscoe Dash, an Atlanta native on the hook. Solid song, great for clubs, Wale did his thing as did Flocka and Roscoe.

Track 6: "Bricksquad"- One of my personal favorites. Featuring one of my favorite artist at the time Gudda Gudda of Young Money, the track is banging on wax but not gangs or a set, but labels.Produced like Lex Luger the beat is a smokey synth with the usual hi-hats and kicks you get from Lex but still nice non the less.

Track 7: "Fuck the Club Up"- Paying homage to time before him, Waka features Atlanta rap OG Pastor Troy, and Brick squad affiliate Slim Dunkin(RIP). Produced by Southside you get what their going for, but its not for everyone.

Track 8: "Homies"- Another one of my favorites on the album. The instrumental(also by Lex), Flocka and Ice Burgandy and YG Hootie bring a certain intensity you can only find in rap music. It's like a mixture of old school southern rap with western influences, and it all just all fits perfectly.

May do the rest later but I'm interested in your opinion. Before you give it give the album a spin.
