It’s just not this that’s trash. Travis Scott music just doesn’t work in todays climate. Everyone who grew up with his music outgrew this style few years ago and he had trouble making new fans ever since because he doesn’t understand how to elevate himself to next level to create a newer and broader audience. He can’t be dependent on his loyal fans forever because they are slowly fading away if he keeps making this same lackluster music over and over again. It doesn’t hit the same anymore. He will always have the numbers but the stay power is long gone

With Utopia he also tries to do this weird mix of a structure from dance-pop/house/juke dance n electronic genres where the beat becomes the focus and background vocals get looped etc. but the blending of parts are not good and he doesn't add much else to those suppose-to-be dancefloor and DJ looping moments so it comes off awkward n odd and then also boring n haphazard - he also rarely throws it back to a main portion too, he usually just flops to the end with the breaks

Astroworld is my fav by him but with that he really did lose a sense of quality control and reserve-ness - now he just throws any idea up and lets it rip without any real end goal or tightening

i have nothing positive to say about his recent music. since astroworld, which was not terribly good, his music has stopped becoming compelling. and it's not just about being a pop star. Justin Bieber is a pop star but his music has something you can grasp onto. Same with the Weeknd, Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat.

I'm not saying you have to like their music by any means, but I can understand why people want to hear Pink Pony Club or Espresso. Travis does not bring anything to his music that makes me want to listen to it. at most his guests do it for him.
