But Ye raised Push status in a way that I couldn’t have predicted. I was following Clipse during their mixtape run. Pops copped Til the Casket Drops off the strength of We Got It for Cheap tapes. He was buzzin around that time but it wasn’t widespread

The GOOD Music linkup changed everything. Mind you, he did 3 Clipse albums, 3 Re-Up tapes, Re-Up Gang album, and a Clipse tape before Dark Fantasy. After 2010 I started hearing “Pusha T is my favorite rapper”
