I think it overwhelmingly was viewed that way in black community
like the racial tensions in america were all time high building up that verdict. wasn't about right or wrong ultimately was a black v white thing. and OJ was the first black to really make it big with that many sponsorships and celebrity status.

i can tell by the way that they led up to the freestyles in writing that they were just egging him on. and the dude on the third freestyle at the end saying over the phone "i think you got your campaign song" was being sarcastic i feel like. and kanye's just spilling his heart to these media moguls who want to beat him like a piñata and watch the money fall out. i feel bad for him man
