i got that he was saying he shouldve left cover art to an expert, and focused on the music only. which is ridiculous. its like telling a basketball player to "shut up and just dribble the ball" since that's the only thing hes an expert at
not to mention Lupe has painted dozens of paintings, so he's more of an expert at that than most album cover designers you see these days. should we talk about the low quality iphone picture kanye used for an album cover that KTT busted a nut over?

Aug 14, 2021·1 replyI strongly doubt Lupe painting or just being very hands on with his artwork effects the quality of the music. Lupe doing ig lives and a podcast would probably hurt the music before painting the art work would and he’s been able to do all that just fine.

And when you delegate an album cover to an artist your not just getting the cover art... your getting the whole art direction look at the rodeo and Astro world art. David la chapelle did astroworld and he did a whole thing. That’s what I mean
