This is true. Most indie/small artists have day jobs.

In today’s society where we see an artist featured with or around a bigger name we assume they’re doing well or on their way there. Not the reality.

It's gotta suck after hitting such a high working with Kanye then fading to obscurity. The fact he is still hustling and hasn't given up is fire, wish him luck. Y'all don't understand what it's like to be a hungry artist.

Chance isn’t driving uber and his debut album sold 100k+ without any major label backing.

Just because u didn’t like his album and he can’t pack arenas doesn’t mean he’s hurting don’t be lame nephew

Don't kid yourself, he definitely fell off. He is still living a more accomplished life than 90% of KTT tho.

If you wanna talk falling off in terms of quality, I can’t do that with you because that’s a subjective topic. But Selling 100k plus and your album debuting on the billboard 200 at #2 is 100% not falling off no matter how you’d like to spin it

An independent artist selling 100k with their debut album isnt far from falling off b
