Statutory rape is statutory rape. Do you need a brief description of what statutory rape is?
In common law jurisdictions, statutory rape is nonforcible sexual activity in which one of the individuals is below the age of consent (the age required to legally consent to the behavior). Although it usually refers to adults engaging in sexual contact with minors under the age of consent, it is a generic term, and very few jurisdictions use the actual term statutory rape in the language of statutes.
Different jurisdictions use many different statutory terms for the crime, such as sexual assault (SA), rape of a child (ROAC), corruption of a minor (COAM), unlawful s***with a minor (USWAM), carnal knowledge of a minor (CKOAM), sexual battery or simply carnal knowledge. The terms child sexual abuse or child molestation may also be used, but statutory rape generally refers to s***between an adult and a minor past the age of puberty, and may therefore be distinguished from child sexual abuse. Sexual relations with a prepubescent child is typically treated as a more serious crime.
In statutory rape, overt force or threat is usually not present. Statutory rape laws presume coercion, because a minor or mentally handicapped adult is legally incapable of giving consent to the act.
Where is the grey area here?
I wasn't saying a grey area in the definition. Just in my opinion when it comes to men getting taken advantage of by women. Which I said can happen.

What exactly is being justified here? Are we supposed to ban people from being edgy / funny online? Is the left wing supposed to be the party of anti-comedy? Also everyone (especially men) go through a fake edgy phase (see: South Park) and it’s kind of a part of finding one’s voice and humor. Ceding all those people to the alt right seems pretty dumb

kinda furthers my point considering 2013 is right around the time everything became “problematic” and everyone was personally responsible for the edgiest / dumbest thing they’d ever said on the internet no matter how much time had passed since.
Also when the “it’s not my job to educate you” attitude took off. I guess those people found folks who were willing to educate them.
