so I realized using a new controller somehow turned off aim assist but even now turning it up to 100% I still dont feel it
did they just completely nerf aim assist or what?

Same here. I recently switched from Xbox to PS5 and the aim assist feels off even though it’s at 100%. Dunno why but good to know it’s not just me.
