The sweatiness of this game at times...unless I join the party of a noob friend, I can at times not even leave the battle bus before dying. I'm out here switching over to Elden Ring because it pisses me off less

played my first game of fortnite the other day and won it. i gotta say though the whole constant building around yourself during fights is exhausting to watch, i feel like it takes soooo much away from gunfights. is there some sort of game mode where its only gunfights and no extra bullshit?

Yes, there is a mode called Zero Build that lets you play without building Personally I’m used to building and I love that aspect but it takes time to master.

Kids be the most cracked at this game, they have all day to play it. Probably because you're new and matchmaking put you with a lot of other noobs and bots. But still impressive

If I want to win a solo game, I need to avoid fighting for most of the match and just kill the last few people. Not build mode tho, f*** that s*** since they added zero build

Like @Chilla said, there is a no build mode. After a while give building a try again though. It doesn't feel like a burden once you get used to it and it makes the game way more fun imo

and somehow, "coincidently", the end game always revolves around a higher ground area so if you're not the first one to get there you'll be met with a bat swing.

its hilarious that i might die like three times due to legitimately getting outplayed/outshot and im like ah that was close but okay. but then i die like 20 times to some bullshit melee charge crap and i get so mad at it lol

They been f***ing up the base game with dumb mechanics and items for the past 2 years honestly…
I only play OG and reload nowadays, they just have the most basic loot pools and you can enjoy the gameplay a 100x more
