Just threw up to smelling Oud Satin Mood. Never thought this’d happen to me in my life bro. MFK BR540 is great, too sweet, but really great. These other samples though

Sprayed some on my hand and felt like I needed to go the Middle East, steal something, and get my fkn hand chopped off just to get rid of the scent.

Also Amyhris is nice too, smells like the worlds most expensive barbershop cologne lmao

Is it actually good?

Is layering BR540 & Aventus really that good? How do I do it? Would I achieve the same effect by decanting 1ml of each into one bottle then spraying?

Yes, smells great imo. Opening and mid are super fruity aventus mixed with that cotton candy/sugary sweetness of br540. Far drydown is more br540 but aventus still present. Reminds me of a beautiful spring day for some reason. Trying to decide if I want a bottle or not

Ive tried mixing aventus and br540 before in a small atomizer but i wasnt able to balance it like casino elixer. It turned out too sweet each time. U can spray br540 and aventus on top or next to eachother to kinda get a taste of what the dua version smells like. But yeah it smells beautiful together

looking for an orange/citrus fragrance, dont have any preferences other than just something that i can use daily. also are seasons that important?

Tried Pineapple Vintage Intense, Emperor EDP, Emperor Maximus Extrait, and then retried Emperor Extrait (used to have a bottle) today...

These fragrances really just don’t smell close to Aventus. Guess I’ll try again tomorrow but... yikes

The birch is just too synthetic for me. I think everything else is... kind of close.

I find it hard to put a % on it since Aventus isnt 1 smell. There are big differences between batches from different years. Like theres 17t01, which is a green apple/vanilla bomb and doesnt really smell like "Aventus". I think that Emperor could pass as a random balanced batch if someone poured it in an Aventus bottle. But then again, close or not, I just love the scent of Emperor so dont really care if its close or not
