Just gave MFK Le Beau and Oud Satin Mood a try

I like Le Beau, but not for me, like I would love it for my mother lol. Think I’ll get her that when I run into some extra bread

Oud Satin Mood I’m not crazy about at all though. Very dark and heavy, which aren’t an issue, but idk it kinda gives elderly female family friend vibes, which I’m not mad at, I actually appreciate the familiarity it brings there lol, but don’t know if I want to be smelling it for an extended period of time

Also spun MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver and Grand Soir for the first time as well

I am a sucker (pause) for more natural vanilla scents, so Grand Soir was a f***ing banger for me. Not sure what else to say off just a couple of sniffs, but I really enjoy it. I get the holiday vibes for sure. Also a hint of a sort of medicinal smell, which I’m not mad at, but it’s there. Also maybe I’m tripping, but I have Diptyque Eau Duelle already, and don’t think I could justify copping this since I already have that. Not saying that they’re 100% the same, I do think the spice in the Grand Soir takes it up a level over Eau Duelle, but the vanilla is apparent enough in both for me to pass on it for now till I’m done with my Eau Duelle

And Gentle Fluidity Silver smelled so clean. Will make you smell like the cleanest young man. Like your room is clean, your teeth are pearly white, your haircut was cut with lasers. Clean. I enjoy it. Off first couple sniffs, not the most interesting thing I’ve ever smelled, but I do fw it. Seems like a safe and clean first impression scent. Think I’ll keep it on my list

Also I kinda wanna take back what I said about Grand Soir

The only similarity it has to Eau Duelle is the vanilla, but besides that Grand Soir genuinely has a whole other layer to it with the spice that makes it so much more complete for me. They’re sort of similar but way different at the same time, and i would 100% cop Grand Soir with Eau Duelle as a 2nd string in the winter lol

eau duelle is a nice daily vanilla with the green and spicy nuances it reminds me of the dr oetker vanilla viles my mom would bake with and it isn’t really loud. grand soir is a bomb of amber and vanilla that is so f***ing good i wanna jump out of a window
