kiddash3rCan anyone help a brother out I have a question.
Not sure if this is a thing in my country only,but here they sell small(20ml i think) fakes of the more known perfumes.
Is buying one of those small decals with (fake) refillable perfumes a good choice to test out a perfume that u want to cop,just to get the general sense of the scent?Some perfumes arent available in my country and I cant smell them beforehand, but I can get them online,thats why Im asking
why wouldn't you just order the samples online?
just order some 2ml or even 5/10ml samples of the real s*** so you can test em

Yeah you can def do that to get a general sense of the scent but like rami suggested, you can also get samples of the real fragrances and see if they are bottle worthy for u

yeah i guess this is the much better way to do it,was asking because these are a lil cheaper than the samples,but its no big deal really

So i walked in this store to cop this fragrance(had a sample already) i told this lady "i want this" she was like "would you like to sample it?" I said nah she got the bottle and offered to try others im like "nah i got enough colognes as is" so i buy it and she went and got me some samples and asked if i wanted to spray the scent i just copped on me i was like

Cologne in my country costs about 1000 bucks and that's for the cheap options like Acqua Di Gio, Dunhill Icon etc. so I buy knockoffs from a franchise store that sells 100ml for 300. I've compared them to original samples and found the scents to be almost EXACTLY the same. Like its shocking they're allowed to sell something so similar for at least a third of the price. They also have the same longevity as the originals - Sauvage or Invictus lasts almost all day on me but I need to re-apply ADG after a few hours. I think where the fakes fall short is the projection/sillage, I actually need to bring my wrist to my nose to smell the fakes. But other people notice them and complement me
I think you need to get some original samples and then compare them with the knockoffs for those same fragrances, that's the only way you'll know whether that place is worth it. Try out a few different places though because I went to another place that does these "interpretations" of fragrances and they were ass in comparison

Ive checked out these,and they are very nice,the sauvage is legit the same.
Yeah they dont last as long but man those prices are nuts.My country is the same with those regular perfumes,they are waaaaaaaaay to expensive here.
