Oh yeah a few 2017s I smelled were heavy on the pineapple but after that not so much. If u want fresh pineapple juice go for pineapple vintage intense from parfums vintage. That one actually smells like pineapple

Holy s*** I know TML gon throw a chair at my head, but streets saying the new Sauvage Elixir is on some next level s*** Haven’t checked their price points but it might be a new niche offering

Top notes: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamom and Grapefruit
Middle note: Lavender
Base notes: Licorice, Sandalwood, Amber, Patchouli and Haitian Vetiver.

How would you recommend getting into colognes then

go to fragrance stores, sample a s*** ton, tell em you'd like to test them on skin before purchasing and ask for samples. watch youtube videos, look on fragrantica.com, order samples/decants from ebay or other websites (check op)

its good. better than the previous versions. doesnt even smell like sauvage really. still not my taste personally but i get the appeal

Just go to a couple places that have fragrance selections. IDK where you’re location, but malls have a bunch. Macy’s, Nordstrom, Neimans, Sephora, Ultra, etc. and sample

I’m scared I’ll die before smelling pure Mysore sandalwood in a frag. Also stuff like pure civet, etc in a frag too.

The issue is, stuff that even has that is like… $500 for like a 2ml sample… and it’s so exclusive you gotta buy it on the ground wherever you can find the fragrance

A couple niche houses tried selling them by blending small tinctures they still had (handed down from like, 40 years ago), but sold like hot cakes smh
