People always say its Roja's version of Aventus but I never got that personally besides both being fresh and woody. Elysium has a certain iciness and is also heavy on vetiver

Aventus > Elysium > AC imo
I sold my Elysium bottle but sprayed the decant I have left after the gym few days ago and it smelled great. I just dont care for it in the warmer weather I think, the coolness and woody aspect shine more in colder weather

Tripping on the ''exact same scent''. They just both contain Ethylmaltol which causes the sweet caramel/cotton candy scent, but BR540 doesn't have the pear, whipped cream, praline etc that Cloud has

like i said, maybe Extrait will be better. Ive worn 540 the past few days and it smells great, but there is borderline no projection and staying power is minimal. Cloud isnt 100% exact, but imo, its so close that I dont think paying for a full bottle of the regular 540 would be worth it. - Oct 29, 2022Culprit
