not sure if you've tried Matcha Meditation by Margiela, but that's a good one...smells like white chocolate and matcha

i like matcha meditation, its a fun spring/summer scent. wish the performance was a bit better as its prob one of the worst performing replica scents but tbf it is an edt

One's I have and love:

Layton (I know, I know...everyone rec's this one) is an obvious standout

Herod - really great winter scent...has that dark cherry, vanilla, little bit of tobacco

Carlisle - less intense version of Red Tobacco by Mancera; another standout

Travel size sprays I have and am indifferent on:

Oajan - Warm apple pie and spices, good if you're into that

Sedley - great clean scent, but honestly not sure if price is justified

Kalan - all i smell is jalapenos...everytime. Think this one is very divisive.

performance is such an odd thing, because I've seen people complain about performance of certain fragrances I have, that I dont have issues with. Like someone said Jazz Club has horrible performance, but I can smell it all day, and if I spray my clothes, It stays on them for days

My gf wears matcha meditation and I can smell it all day.

a lot of it is a mix of skin chemistry but also what actual batch people get. this is a big thing w/ aventus (prob the best example i can think of), where the batch # matters a lot because the concentration differs between them. for some people some concentrations have better or worse performances. for me jazz club was decent performance but by the fireplace is like a 12 hour one

Cosco should be easy to return anyways. Someone who worked at a Costco recently said itt that you can return perfume bottles to them even if you use up/decant 40-50% of the juice

costco is legit. recently jomashop was selling 50 ml aventus for $200 so it’s not like that price is unheard of

i was that person, refunders are obligated to accept a refund for any product that has over 50% of it's containments left but just to be safe I'd only decant like 45% of the bottle or something

every time i wear it, i always forget about the weird opening/dry down behavior. didn't get this w/ the sample but have had this consistently w/ the actual bottle - not sure if it's a quantity thing. basically, there's almost no opening, but like 10 mins after in the beginning of the dry down the sillage is suddenly insane, like legit 2 mile radius the lack of opening always makes me want to spray more but then once the drydown hits im glad i didn't
