bought a sample yesterday because @thankmelater sent me 5 samples where the labels fell off before I got them
All I was trying to do was to train your nose tbh. You need to get on Fragrantica for the notes, smell the label-less decants and figure out what is what. Thats life

sotd aventus
gonna keep it real, its a cold take but although its close to a masterpiece in terms of mens fragrances i dont think its worth the price
if anyone in eu is interested, i have a 2017 millesime bottle (before the round caps), selling for the low
if heard that creed constantly reformulated aventus with cheaper ingredients since the very beginning to increase the profit margins, hence the batch variations
that olivier creed dude a real greedy scumbag tbh

there’s so many other frags in the same lane for less money i see what you’re saying but there’s something to be said about wearing the OG

i do agree with the latter but the balance vs the price when i compare it to other fragrances which hover around similar pricepoints just has me like

Heard the opposite tbh. The guy who wrote the book exposing Creed not too ago said that despite not crediting and paying their perfumers accordingly, Olivier is and was always about having the best ingredients. Creed had to be reformulated due to regulations
Every single batch of Aventus smells different. They do like 10-20 batches every year so I doubt they tried to make it cheaper that many times

Thought the same

every fragrance is reformulated every 3-5 years i honestly think wrt aventus its availability of raw materials holding them back from consistency
