Yeah it is. I haven’t smelled it anywhere but saw someone talk about it elsewhere and wanted to know what the listed note composition was

i have no idea where would anyone wear this, except at home. But i personally enjoyed Dior Leather Oud so i think i get the appeal for some people.

I feel that way about a lot of "experimental" or avant-garde style perfumes, but occasionally something will work inadvertently. I feel like Nasomatto is a good example of this (albeit maybe not as extreme). Stuff like Baraonda literally just smells like being an alcoholic (but it works) and stuff like Afghano just smells like d**** (but it also works). Wouldn't say it's throwing s*** against the wall to see what sticks since there's obv an art to it, but idk, you never know what weird scent may actually end up working more than assumed
1957 does really smell like laundry detergent
i love it tho, smells like clean skin and high quality soap

Most of the stuff from 70s and 80s used real animal notes, the powerhouses, so maybe Zoologist Hyrax isnt so far from that stuff. But i never smelled it so idk really
But animalic notes are used for a carnal feeling, they dont necessarily smell traditionally pleasant but you keep returning to smell the fragrance for some reason - i remember someone said MKK smells like a girls inner thigh after s**

Yeah it smells nice
i mean give it time lol, if you're not huge on it right now try wearing it for a few days to see how your really feel, first impressions can be deceiving, especially considering fragrances

Some of my all time fav frags literally took years for me to get/like. Grand Soir & Ani for example
