japanese, i love it gonna what would you recommend sampling

if you like floral than kurokami or sola

and if you like green/herb scents than any of the clear or light yellow ones or hana matsuri

i think they are known for their oud but i’m not too into that typa s*** so i can’t tell how good they are lol

honestly you just gotta read the descriptions on luckyscent and frafnatica and figure out what sounds good to you

ngl tho a lot of them kinda smell the same (or i might just not have the nose to differentiate)

also all of them are pretty intimate. maybe it’s just my skin but non of them have far projection or are long lasting (maybe like 6 hours tops).

My daily driver these past few months, it smells rly unique man rly smells like a dreamy mysterious guy from a Murakami novel lol

i feel like Initio also doesn't get mentioned a lot outside of Side Effect despite them being weirdly popular; they're in the same category as BDK or Xerjoff I guess where they have a long line of interesting stuff but people really only identify 1 or 2 things from them most of the time in discussions

I feel like it’s the Japanese style for them to be more intimate and I don’t necessarily want a loud projection from every not everyone outside of arms length has to smell me. I’ll look around

Yeah Side Effect and Oud for Greatness are their biggest ones haven’t sampled either tho. You’ve mentioned Widian to me once so I’ll get around to them. Clive Christian is always super marked off at discounters which is crazy considering I saw them as an unattainable luxury item I’ll have to check them out. The rest I’ll look thanks
