    so i got around to trying gris extrait today just spraying it on my wrist being in the house and i personally prefer the edp over extrait.

    extrait is darker, deeper, warmer, and stronger. the fig and tea is still there but it’s less sweet and airy with more more emphasis on the woody notes, vanilla, and cardamom. longevity for both is great lasted all day. where the edp is very unisex i think extrait leans more towards feminine in the way how tom ford black orchid divides people on if it’s unisex or feminine. has such a slight passing resemblance to dior homme intense for a moment but less chocolate and more fruit and earthy smells. sampling this makes me want to explore more fig fragrances. i like it a lot but im not getting a bottle of this rather getting the regular one both great tho the regular is just more my vibe

    @krishna_bound tabac rose is amazing. not for me but it’s a great rose prefer it over portrait of a lady

    Tabac Rose is def one of my fav scents ever. Even beyond the rose itself, the other notes are incredible. I love the deep richness of the scent

  • remarkable how similar Black Saffron is to Ombre Leather. minus some of the leather and depth. do folks that have both prefer one over the other?

    I believe L’homme, I got the sample from MFK but it was so vague on which version it was, you ever try it?

    Yeah I had a bottle of the l'homme version. The musky drydown is godly, but I didnt really love the opening

    I found the opening a little too sharp if I remember correctly. But once it settles its gorgeous. Lasts all day, the sillage and projection are great. I have the same thing with MFK Gold, dont love the opening but the musky drydown is mindblowing

    Testing the last frag in my bdk discovery set and it’s Creme de Cuir. So far feels like BDK doesn’t make necessarily unique frags but everything is excellent quality and very pleasing to the nose cant imagine them anyone disliking them like how some other houses can have more challenging scents

So far feels like BDK doesn’t make necessarily unique frags but everything is excellent quality and very pleasing to the nose cant imagine them anyone disliking them like how some other houses can have more challenging scents
