Initio - Side Effects: not for me smells like bubblegum, too sweet

Serge Lutens - Chergui: This one is nice smells real classy

Byredo - 1996: thumbs up

Montale - Black Aoud: nice dark scent, smelled some chocolate accords

Finally tried spiritueuse double vanille and its one of the best things ive ever smelled off the testing strip
Need to try it on skin next time.

Also found some freshies that I liked for the spring/summer. Creed Pure White cologne & Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi

100%, Acqua di Parma and Aventus Cologne are the vibes for the summer bro. Especially because I’m going to Italy/Sicily on vacation lmao.

Sotd: thameen regent leather sample

Discovered this house last friday. Pretty much everything Ive tried from them was at the very least "nice". The ones that impressed me the most (from what I remember) were the leather, carved oud and royal sapphire. Regent Leather has additional notes of vanilla, saffron & cardamom making it more crowdpleasing/inviting compared to other leather based fragrances on the market. I dont think Id ever buy it with its retail price of €245 for 50ml, but its very enjoyable. Definitely a house I will sample more often when I get the chance.

Where was this?

For summer I’m gunning for:

1. Colonia Essenza (heard too many good things about it not to try. Is basically labelled as the best ADP frag)

2. Blu Mediterraneao, Fico di Amalfi (I’m basically going to be knee deep in somebody’s daughter in June on an Amalfi Coast beach resort, and will spray this on the back of my neck, collarbones & nutsack before bussin inside)

When you buy fragrance/perfume for everyday use
Summer time, going for walks instead of closed spaces, but also something you can use for everyday situations...

do you go for perfume or stick with eau de Toilette

I know completely NOTHING about this subject so if anyone could point me into right direction about when to pick what I'd be thankful

It depends on how it smells on your skin

I almost always prefer Parfum/oil but that’s cuz I’m actually sick in the fkn head and dgaf who smells me & what medical condition they might have.

There are some EDTs which are significantly better than their EDP counterparts though (IMO), example usually all Dior frags & Bleu De Chanel tbh

Update: Emperor and Emperor Extrait samples came in days early and got to try them before I went out. First impression; i 100% prefer emperor over its extrait. Emperor is great the pineapple still holds on the dry down which complemented that musky/smokiness that i got from it. I only sprayed it once on my arm since I was wearing something else but i noticed it lasted about 4-6 hours on me so pretty good. Extrait was very strong on the lime. Pretty much cut open a bunch of limes and bathe in it and you'll basically be wearing emperor extrait.

Absolute Aphrodisiac by Initio is a beast

Unlike any vanilla fragrance i have smelled so far.

Amber, vanilla, leather and musk.

how is Burberry London?

Imagine smelling a strawberry nesquick powder with leather and musk.

performance isnt great but I like it, lotta tobacco, it reminds me of christmas
