I have this anxiety regarding smelling "basic"

That will be my second bottle of fragrance I've ever bought and with the first one I went for Dior Sauvage bc it was the only one I knew anything about (a very popular commercial with Johhny Depp and most ladies like that smell)

And I was happy with it for couple months until I realized every other man wears that smell

For f***s sake in my group of close friends 3 of them had Sauvage lol

So now I don't wont to make a mistake of buying something bc it's a simple popular option and unconsciously I was programmed to like it (if it makes sense lmao)

It does smell beautiful and all the girls I took to the store and let them smell it told me it's great

But again... I wanted to know if BdC isn't considered worn out or "basic"

I'm the same, bleu de chanel is a common fragrance(its v popular) so you should keep that in mind

I swea all the best scents are for fall/winter i want fall to come asap lmao

Looking for something with summer/spring in mind

tried the whole Serge Lutens lineup today, only truly enjoyed Chergui and Ambre Sultan(which is a inferior version of Grand Soir but still ok).

I also overheard one of the workers there saying that they need to do something about the people coming to test multiple parfums and then end up not buying anything.

my picky ass can't find a summer scent. They all either smell like my dads stuff or are too piercing smelling.

Only summer frags I have right now are pineapple vintage intense and emperor edp. Both are takes on Aventus

For spring i'll be using trussardi riflesso, bvlgari wood essence(just got a sample im 50/50 on it so gonna try it out more see if imma buy it). Summer my lineup is montblanc legend spirit, couch new york(this is my number one compliment getter lmao heard its a bit similar to sauavage so bear that in mine and i had this since early '18 so 🤷🏾‍♂️) and im finna get chanel sport blanche edition thats a badd motherfucker i cant wait to rock it when im on dates

The vanilla one wasn’t my style either but you should check out Chergui, it has a hay note that makes it interesting.
