In “Megalopolis”, for which Lawrence Fishburne provides narration, Adam Driver plays Ceasar, a tortured visionary. It’s principally a love affair between Nathalie Emmanuel’s character, the daughter of his rival and opponent, and the battle for her heart. It’s Romeo and Juliet, a Shakespearean battle between two families. The main villain is portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito as the mayor. Aubrey Plaza plays a rival love interest.
