Ok hack is maybe an overstatement, but I have read a lot of criticism on Debt from economists, which makes the book look like it’s trying to pick and choose history and anecdotes to try to present an argument that’s long been debunked in academic circles. But I haven’t read more than 2 chapters of any of his books so can’t really comment further. Have you read anything from him?
