Crack is surprising af tho

The writing is very good but it’s pretty much the same thing he’s done for the past few years. Seems a bit lazy to me. And the fact that the character he’s created for himself is pretty much a huge Mary Sue doesn’t help, those interludes sound like a parody.

I’ve always had an issue with the jvlivs character cause it’s just him rapping about the same thing he does on a7 deo favente etc

He mentions rap and showcases a bunch of times in julius 1 so idgi, the only thing that ever felt like a concept to me was the interludes and the mafioso sound katrina squad brought to the table

Exactly! It’s not a concept, it’s a gimmick. The music still good though. But as I said, it feels lazy. He’s not trying to renew his sound and it’s a shame because a trilogy with three distinct sonic atmospheres would have been awesome.

Based on the aesthetic i woulda loved for the beats to go full industrial and cold but im not disappointed tbh i fw the album

The album is too linear, monotone, lacks atmosphere. I tend too agree with what is being said overrall. They were no memorable moments to me. JVLIVS is way better.
