if frank released an album in 2021, it'd flood the AM charts for 2 weeks (with one song closest to Nights hitting #47 on Billboard) and then the hype would leave already and ktt2 would be littered with threads like 'so this was it?', 'frank will never have another blonde' etc. and 2025 people will always still talk about blonde and not the most recent album, because they had better memories attached to blonde.
his heart isn't in music anymore.
it's over.
blonded era will be a nostlagic moment for a lot of people and will never be recreated.
He told u?
I feel like it’s really weird people itt insist on thinking for a guy we know so little about lmao
Lets just wait and see what happens instead of pretending like we’re in his head
its kind of nuts that we almost were like this close to it possibly coming out before covid. assuming the coachella performance was the sign that an album was coming

This last year probably went the exact opposite of how Frank planned it

This was said before endless and blonde
Frank will never stop loving music
Frank stans really still exist

Has Frank been photographed since the passing of Ryan?
Yes, he been partying actually.
Of course, he’s the GOAT
He hates y'all

nah, younger people will inevitably relate more to a newer album

i think what it also comes down to is that his music is timeless. Wheras a lot of artists make something and 5 years later it sounds old, Blonde and Endless still sound ahead of the curve. I don’t think his album is coming this year, maybe next year at this point. its time when its time

I feel like we would've gotten that dance-inspired album + remix album and now we possibly won't be getting either at all which is a damn shame prolly just feels inappropriate for him rn both because of his brother and because of covid and him not being able to make a big tour rn because of both.
I bet he already got like 3 finished albums but scrapped some along the way now. Just praying we get some archival releases in 20 years at this point

Really disagree.
Yes most likely see these kind of threads in this site. But thats the way KTT responds to every single major release these days. I doubt the general public would react to the album that way especially if it's up to Frank Ocean standards. While I agree that a lot of the praise Blonde got is accentuated by nostalgia ppl have to that period, Frank could've had a special thing going on with the worldwide lockdown. It was a great time for self-disovery and meditativeness and that would be more than fitting for a Frank album.
He wouldve been the soundtrack to that period. By 2025 I guarantee you you'll be seeing posts talking fondly of those months of isolation.

Ngl if that's true I'm hurt but not that upset
