    We gotta let Frank Grieve.

Grieve what? Did he suffer another loss?

What if the album is called Grief

  • Sep 10, 2022

    Calling it right now:

Ice Spice will either collab with frank on music or do a shoot for Homer

I believe he still is. Not easy for anyone to deal with loss and I feel as if Frank just needs the time he needs. He will announce or tell us something when it’s time for the next chapter.

The BLONDED episodes hes posted were made for the purpose of explaining how he progressed past grief

I guess that could be interpreted that way but I still think the loss is providing a lot of why we don’t get anything new and the coachella cancellation as well.

maybe initially but it seems like he's pivoted away from it and pursued some other interests for a while

that likely being because of the loss causing reassessment but its not like he's keeping his music back cuz of his loss at this point

That’s ignorant to say. Yes, the Blonded episodes deal with the various methods of how to cope with grief but to outright close that chapter on someone you don’t know is crazy disrespectful.

is it not a cornerstone of frank's work that his personal life is inextricably connected to his professional output?

we can pull from most of the things that he talks about (LEMONHEAD outro, his IG, etc) that he's beyond grieving in the moment

eh not anymore than any other musician with lyrics based on their personal life? you can compare all you want to previous stuff but 1. people can change how much they share and how they do 2. none of that is losing your younger brother

Edit: a lot of this is also one way unconfirmed projection and pattern mapping fans do as if everything they have access to of an artist's persona is everything about them.
