This guy's good but I feel weird about seeing him spammed everywhere, feels like I'm being sold something, he's got great tunes but something about him tingles my spidey sense

Tbh all the hype I’ve seen from him is coming from word of mouth which is kinda crazy. I haven’t seen any peculiar media push or advertising scheme. It’s just a lotta heads were tapping in at once. The boiler room set def hit some kinda algorithm boom or something bc everyone I knew was talking about it for weeks

I definitely get this but I went to his Coachella show weekend 1 and the vibes were insane

That was pre him really getting this push too and that felt organic enough

Like he’s definitely getting a ton of backing but there’s also so much organic love for what he’s doing

I think that set was highly anticipated as he already gained pretty large fanbase through the two albums he dropped and this song was massive

I do see a lot people which aren’t really into electronic music really love him. He is kinda like equivalent of people not liking hip hop but like Kendrick at this point

Spotify was pushing him in the algos hard in the past year and a half. Definitely some fishiness with his rise
