I think they could've easily kept Black Illuminati and cut out that Moneybagg track

Not really when u consider what the goal of this album was. Too Much is a better fit with more reach

not as hungry as YOL2 or raw as SOAD but still pretty good, it’s very polished

Great f***ing album. Finally finished and the production is immaculate. Gibbs sounds as sharp as ever and the features did work.

Gonna listen to this all weekend.

    Gibbs did it again.

The album is called Soul Sold Separately. Black Illuminati is a perfect track name and mood to the album. You mentioning reach what about Kelly Price and Musiq Soulchild? What reach is that getting?

I'm not talking about the name. I'm talking about how this is probably the most mainstream Freddie Gibbs album we're gonna get. It's obvious that their intentions was to keep Freddie's core sound but mix in a good amount of mainstream sound/features. Too Much is perfect for that hence why it was the first official single. Kelly Price and Musiq Soulchild are both mainstream R&B legends and I would of never expected them to be on a Gibbs album. Fans of theirs might see that and hit play on the song. Definitely a lot of crossover going on here
