yeah part of me thinks he was just joking. dark joke at this time but he could've just been walking away and said 'nah we lost that s***' at a fan asking for an album he probably gets asked about 100 times a week

The thing is even if only madlib has the copy the fact remains that some hacker has access to all of madlib’s s*** and there’s a finished copy of it on some white kid from indianas PC, this is the time to use those resources probably

At the end of the day, it is music not an art piece. There will be copies made and the vinyls lost can be replaced. Thankful that he and his family are safe and he can still make more classics
