CraysheThe special guest argument is a cope. Especially knowing when Drake brings Ye out like at OVO Fest, Kanye performs a legendary set similar to the one he performed yday. Drake probably was excited to perform his new songs but I agree they could have better coordination.
Major cop out. I don’t even get the argument that he was a guest and shouldn’t be expected to play his greatest hits because isn’t that would guests usually do??? Since it’s more likely the crowd that isn’t their own will know their biggest song over the years rather than their more recent songs that more likely only their owns fans will know and/or be excited about?? Like it’s such a weird argument.
I agree I just think Drake misses touring and was excited to play his new s*** which is totally understandable but just think it was a really bad decision. Also maybe didn’t want to get tricked into a pseudo-verzuz. Not sure if any rapper could beat Ye in one.

Ppl think they are entitled to decide what songs are played at a concert they didn't attend lol. great example of an echo chamber. A couple toxic ppl whine on Twitter that drake played the wrong songs and get validated for it. So everyone hops on the hype train cuz that's what is buzzing
Drake is just a guy that gets paid to make and perform music. He can do whatever tf he feels like. If I was him I'd be so over this rap s***. He does a show that wasn't his idea, was publicly pressured into doing with a guy he privately still probably doesn't f*** with, and ppl who just watched it for free from their bedroom are furious over it. Less than a year after getting booed off stage for not being Frank Ocean lol

He had no interest in doing the show till J Prince flew to Toronto and forced his hand. Even Larry Hoover Jr said Drake doing the show wasn't in the bag and that J Prince was talking to him to convince him to do it. It wasn't until J Prince himself flew to Toronto (probably for the first time ever) to Drake's house with Kanye and Jas Prince. That's when we got the picture of Drake with them and the show was confirmed. If Drake always wanted to do the show, they wouldn't have had to do all that s***.
