Kanye dancing during Drake's performance of Knife Talk and Beanie Sigel rapping the lyrics
In short, I had a great time watching this.
I liked Drake set and actually I wish Ye did more of Donda
I loved Ye’s set but I wish he did more stuff from Donda. I’ve seen him do those other songs hundreds of times so lmao
Seeing Drake do songs live he never did was cool.
Well I guess he shoulda followed Ye’s footsteps from 2015.
He didn’t drop an album in like 2 years. There’s a slight difference. Moment he dropped an album he came back and only played album songs.

Ngl I completely forgot about 2016, just remembered 2015 cause I was there. Regardless, I get Drake always does his new s*** as he should. But for a 12 song set he coulda dropped a couple of the new songs for classics to match Ye’s energy. Especially if he knew Ye wasn’t doing much of DONDA hence why I said they could’ve coordinated better. Had he just added in 1-2 older songs, he wouldn’t have had to beg the crowd for their energy every other song.

Yeah I get what you mean. I thought in that hostage video with Ye he said they would be performing Donda and CLB but i guess he changed his set
He raps the songs!
Drake is basically a hype man to his own songs!
Early Drake was a beast tho!
Drake focuses a lot on Crowd interaction and sing alongs, making it more about the experience and appreciating the fans. its more like "the Drake fan experience" not really a performance of music. watch any Drake show and you'll hear a lot of "Right side put your hands up"
"Left side I love that energy"
"You in the blue shirt I see you showing love"
even in the old days there's videos of him in like 2007 and his show was like half stand up, a couple cover songs, and then once he gets the audience rapport that's when he would try to give an original track and performance.
Kanye is more about performing the songs because he doesn't really care too much what they think of what he does if he can still execute his vision on stage

Yup. I actually prefer the way Drizzy performs. Nothing wrong with how Ye does it though but I prefer the back and forth engagement during performing.

It didn’t work for me live because of the way the speakers were set up in the venue. They were placed at the front corners of the section so it was nearly impossible to hear any sound from the crowd in the stadium. When I watched the stream of the show afterwards I was shocked at how loud the crowd actually was. I couldn’t hear any of it over the music

Yeah, I watched the stream and couldn’t hear the crowd but when I saw a few pals stories on Insta the crowd was as loud as f***.
Don’t know why they couldn’t isolate the speakers and amplify the crowd on stream.

These were likely the shoes that Ye and Drake were gonna wear when going out but last minute decided against it.
