i don't think Ye is arguing Hoover was innocent. Nor is he looking for a pardon. Feel like the situation has not been explained properly

He believes Hoover is eligible for release under the First Step Act that he, Kim and others are partially responsible for existing and convincing Trump to sign.

Whether he applies is currently under question....A judge is open to hearing arguments and has yet to make a decision. He could possibly be released from Federal, sent to state prison and have the chance for a parole hearing

Multiple of Hoovers lieutenants have been released or got reduced sentences under the First Step Act

It is possible that this works in the end but its quite a battle. It will only get more heated if he makes it to an Illinois State Prison

And once again yall act like this Larry Hoover s*** is something new, Kanye always had connections to the GD's and lived by things he learned from them.
