It aims to limit long sentences and release those who’ve served enough time. A lot of Hoovers former associates have been released or reduced sentences already.

Larry is an on ongoing dispute over this matter and a judge is actually willing to hear the argument out and hadn’t chosen a side yet

If he gets released from federal prison, he might end up in Illinois state prison where he will likely be eligible for a parole hearing. Honestly if he makes it this far it will not be hard to pass that meeting and get released

But yeah this is a conversation that still ongoing and Kanye just wants to bring attention to it. It’s not about reversing his sentence or pleading innocence
