this situation is so depressing from how common it is, older dudes who had huge parts of their lives wiped out telling younger dudes that s*** isn't worth it and the younger people just don't care because they think it'll end up different for them. you see it w/ regular people all the time and it's beyond depressing this stuff isn't fixed even among well off celebrities
I disagree that they don’t care or what not, it’s not that simple to avoid the baggage of your past, or to change a mentality that helped you survive
i am the YSL take me instead
Kareem Akbar is the real head of YSL. That’s right, the educated brother from the bank
Tried to warn him..

Wallo basically told them to clean up thier act. He spent 25 years in prison and told them none of this street s*** is cool, stop now while youre in a position to make generational wealth because prison is a lonely place and the world will go on without you. Don’t let these people trick you out of position by trying to keep it real
got you. feel like thug knew that and was trying to get away from it somehow. but they been tailing him for years. it was gonna happen regardless. what he did within the past month exacerbated it
I’m scared to make a mess cause im watched by the cops, im scared to count my blessings cause im getting watched by the opps

that's fair, and i get that part, but i do think many times it crosses the line from avoiding baggage (esp. if you're in a situation where your old street enemies follow you into fame) vs actively dabbling back into that life. i get the excuse for the former, it's less sympathetic in the second half imo
Niggas will rob, kill, and terrorize their community and when they get arrested act like the government is setting them up. S*** don't make no sense at all
government quite literally doing the same thing

certainly agree with you on that

If the lines between YSL the gang and the label are blurred and they're in essence the same, that also implicates 300
300 entertainment was probably being negligent by not doing any research on the inner workings of YSL but they werent on some gang s***

At some point it doesn't become negligence anymore and it's just recklessness
