Any one got a tldr breakdown of the guy who ratted

The guy who snitched is named Kenneth Copeland aka YSL Woody.

He's a YSL member whose apparently been an informant for at least 11 years.

His name is barely on the indictment and it looks like the information that he's been providing has been important for this RICO.

Here's some important things he mentioned in this interview.

    • YSL Woody mentions he told Thug that he was moving reckless and talking crazy in his music. He also didn't like the dummy missions Thug was sending people on. There was apparently tension and Woody didn't get the call for the hit on Nut.

    • YSL Woody says he knows of a hit going down and he needs to be free. He wants to bargain the information that he has to help with his case. The police tell him that they'll mentioned that he's been very cooperative to the DA but they can't make any promises. (There was later a attempt on YFN Lucci's life while he was in jail.)

    • YSL Woody keeps talking and wants to go home but the officers wont let him because of his criminal history and the nature of this case. He drops hints here and there about murders and stuff but every time the officers try to get more information, he doesn't get into much detail.

you can debate who snitched more but at the end of the day, they're both snitches.

    YSL is full of rats.

    YSL is full of rats.

how many times do people have to explain to y’all that it’s literally part of Gunna’s plea that what he said cannot be used as evidence in any of his codefendants’ cases, so no, he didn’t “snitch” by any definition of the word

how many times do yall have to be told that part of Gunna plea is that he can be called to testify and say the exact same thing he said in his plea in court.

They're probably not gonna call him in the courtroom though with the way YSL Woody has been telling and the fact that they have more valuable snitches.

Gunna admitted that YSL is a gang and he knows of their crimes in order to get free. We have video of this.

You can play semantics all you want but that's snitching.

Most importantly alot of street niggas who come from that life acknowledge that's snitching and they don't f*** with him like that anymore. That's reality.

In some way, it’s impossible to detach because that is what the fans themselves want, the insinuation that the artist’s persona is real and the surrounding drama

  • Feb 20, 2023

So why’d they make him say it lol

    Exactly lol

What would be the point of getting Gunna to admit to something like that and not be able use it in court in a RICO?

Fellas can be so delusional when it comes to an artist that they like.

So why’d they make him say it lol

because that’s what he was charged with lol

there were other people who took the exact same plea deal & the YSL family welcomed them back with open arms

Gunna’s the only one people have been going this hard for, and for what?

was he the first to take this deal? no
did he say anything in his plea that the others didn’t? no

can what he said be used at this moment against any other codefendants? no

is he the most famous person who took the plea deal, putting the spotlight on him? yes

with Lil Woody being an informant for the past 11 years, Gunna saying “a gang called YSL does exist” without it affecting anyone else’s case is such an infinitesimally small detail that you’d have to do insane mental gymnastics to call him a snitch, especially knowing that the 3+ hour Lil Woody snitching video is from before Lucci was attacked. so who knows what the codefendants found out about this that made them all start taking the deals

show me the papers where he snitched. until then, Gunna didn’t snitch

Bro the point of a RICO is for the low level members of a criminal organization to take plea deals in order to take out the heads. They are undoubtedly using his statement and can be called upon to testify. I’m blown away anyone is still in denial about this

It’s uniquely an American thing. Most other countries arent d*** eating gang-ethics, which is why 69 is making millions in the Latin American market

if it is the same deal gunna took it’s hypocritical. YSL mondo said ppl took different deals but even if they are different, anything that’s going against thugs defense is just as bad as what gunna did cause all of this is evidence that can be substantiated

gunna is really catching all the heat cause he was one of the first to plea and affiliates are saying thug’s defense didn’t know he’d do that

if he’s being addressed by people in thug’s family, not fans in a different way to Duke & his brother…there’s obviously something he did that was unscrupulous (in their world), fans can care or not care,… who the hell cares
