The State wants to play the full Lil Woody interviews for the jury as "contradiction" to Woody's testimony on the stand.

The defense objects to the full interviews being played. They argue that the state should only be able to play parts the directly contradict statements on the stand.

The Judge says ordinarily, that would be correct, but because Woody has repeatedly said the ENTIRE interviews were lies, he is leaning to allowing the entire interview being played.

Attorney Max Schardt argues that the State created this issue strategically by not allowing Woody to review his statements beforehand in "trial prep" like they normally would any other witness.

"By leaving Woody in the Dark, they caused this"

The state plans to play Lil Woody's interviews. We know there were 6 interviews. They plan to play 5. The dates of his interviews were:

2:27:13 - 2:34:00; Lil Woody f***ed up here. He went into too much detail and actually gave up information that the prosecution didn't ask for.

Woody says he had told a friend "he was plotting on Thug" and he heard it may have gotten back to Thug.

Then he admits to probably texting Thug's sister in 2015 "Damn, your brother is trying to have me killed".

He said he was paranoid and this was his way of trying to "force a reaction" from Thug to test if Thug actually found out about his plans.

The Judge initially leaned to ruling against the state and keeping the videos of the interviews out, and instead making the state pick specific statements that Woody contradicted.

After hearing further arguments from the state and defense, he changed his mind and rules against the defense.

We're gonna spend today listening to interviews.

We have jumped right into Woody's interview from the day after Nut was killed. The state is playing the entire thing.

The jury was brought out and is currently listening to this interview.

Copeland's interview the day after Donovan "Nut" Thomas was killed in a drive-by shooting:

Judge is so bias against the défense imo it’s crazy. How can you throw the défense lawyer in jail and then casually change your mind about this. It’s clear bias

Woody confessed to getting sent to kill for Thug?

The state confirmed the lengths for the remaining interviews they want to play.

3 hours + 3 hours + 9 hours. And "depending on how questioning goes", potentially 2 hours for the 2021 leaked interview.

Jurors won't be coming in tomorrow, the defense has objections to certain parts of the remaining videos so the Judge needs to make rulings. Was going to be a halfday anyway.
