Yes, the subject was touched wonderfully but I wasn't alive to know how people reacted at the time tbh.
I do know tho racists will complain and there will be battles about it on twitter for days

Who cares about the reaction? It went years longer and more sitcoms were open about racism then than now

It’s being done by the Director who did that fan trailer that went viral a few years ago so I’m definitely gonna check it out. If the series can deliver on the level of that trailer this could be promising.

Like I said, I wasn't alive back then for the convos about it and other shows of the time.
Just saying people will complain, whether for the subjects, because it's a drama and not a comedy, because the reboot exist, some people could complain about eventual choices of the actors.

It's a risky move making a reboot of a show so loved but maybe I simply have a negative outlook on things :kanyeshrug:
