Just from my perspective, his posthumous albums did nothing at all and I don’t see nearly as many people claiming him or talking about him anymore

But hes dead and his body of work is relatively small.

? was a special album tho. It's influence cant be tracked so soon after his passing but I can see it in a couple of these new rappers.

Earl will be viewed as a legend when it's all said and done.
He won't get hit singles or go platinum, but he will end up having plenty of amazing albums with plenty of acclaim.

Many will see him as our generation's DOOM.
Earl is already birthing several artists

andre 3k overrated and not top 10. excellent rapper yeah but how this nigga gonna be considered top 5/10 when he doesn't have a single solo rap album released (tlb doesn't count). yeah he has a bunch of crazy verses but so do niggas like prodigy who in his prime was outrapping niggas like nas on tracks. and prodigy went on to actually drop solo albums instead of one feature every other year like 3k. you dont see prodigy being put in goat discussions in rap like that, so why should andre?

no they're usually some of the best. every celebs image gets scared at some point, for the clean ones it's very late usually over a decade in

So much heat. I didn’t even mention the greatness of songs like Who Am I, My Love, Purple Haze, & I’m Ready

those are actually my favorites on that album

the beat on my love is so simple yet so powerful. a true example of less is more.

the aura and feeling of that album is special. it's the chipmunk soul that drives it home every time.

now i'm in a dipset mood
