F13 > ANOES and Halloween franchise as a whole imo.

F13 Part 1 - 4 and 6 are all great. 6 is easily the most underrated.

7 is fun. Most of the others are just guilty pleasures.

6 is the best. When Jason throws that paintball dude in a tree and it leaves a smiley face

Freddy Vs. Jason is so 2003 in his aesthetics, I love it lmao. Plus, I can watch the fight scenes on YouTube. They entertaining af.

I like 4 and 7 too. 5 is lame because of the copycat killer s***, but its not a bad entry imo

Yeah, 6 is great. The James Bond opening

My favorite kill is the one from Manhattan when he punches the dudes head off. Cracks me up every time I see it.

Love 1-8, one of my favourite series to run through every couple years or so when the weather starts to heat up, classic lazy nights

A while back I remember @Ithaka and me talked about what it would be like to do a new entry at a camp that closes for the winter and has its lake freeze over, some teens go out there because they know it's gonna be empty or whatever and s*** goes off

    Visuals would be kino

yeah I remember seeing people gushing over it on the Blu-ray.com forum, I gotta hunt that down to go with my Friday 8 movie collection

there's also a crazy new 12 disc collection of the series on the way from Scream Factory which should be pretty hot considering how dope their Halloween set was

Damn I didn鈥檛 even know a 12 film collection was coming from Scream

That鈥檚 a day 1 purchase for me. I hate that I don鈥檛 have the Halloween one as I鈥檓 a bigger fan of Halloween than Friday slightly

Also if u want a copy of Never Hike Alone I would def hop on that bc they are already $50+ resale! I would also watch the Friday the 13th thread on Blu-ray.com bc I got my copy from them having leftovers from a pressing and you had to email them. They are doing a new pressing for it which the window has closed but they could have leftovers again. It鈥檚 a must have for a Friday fan who has the other films IMO

yeah I remember seeing discussion of those leftovers too, I'll keep an eye out this time for sure

new Scream boxset is comfirmed to have the uncut Jason Goes to Hell, plus the director has suggested in the past that he was preparing a new director's cut as well

not sure what else they'll be including, but at the very least it'll probably have separate cases with those iconic posters for the covers

I wonder what the price will be

What did the Halloween set retail at originally? I started collecting too late and missed out on it

  • Jun 16, 2020

I wish crossover films were still a thing outside of Godzilla. I would love a Jason vs Michael Myers film now that Halloween is back in the public eye.

oh man I totally forgot, I didn't cop it either

there were two different editions, a slimline 10 disc one and the full 15 disc monster, for memory the cheap one was like 80-90ish and the big one was maybe 120-130?
