Still puzzled how he blew up. I kinda find him boring similar to how I view dvsn. Seems like a cool dude tho

he blew up as a producer and writer. since he has a good voice, he could make demos. he signed to Def Jam and then started making his way around the industry. I don't think its that puzzling when you look into it.
