there is a legitimate conversation to be had about how underrated Living Single is and how the show itself was a victim of studio racism in comparison to its white counterparts but the concept of a sitcom about single friends sharing an apartment and getting into wacky comedic situations did not start with Living Single

The show def helped pave the way for Friends and they have similar premises but Friends isn’t a ripoff. you might as well say Fresh Prince is a ripoff of The Cosby Show

Friends is funny tbh in an awkward way. just seeing Ross, Chandler and Joey get into awkward situations they can't get out of is funny to me.

They got her in the nastiest granny fits and hair possible and she surrounded by either fat, bald, crusty old, mulletted or weird looking mfs, usually a combination of all the above

I liked it but mostly cuz of nostalgia, I wouldn’t put it on today but if it was on I could tolerate it, it seems overhated but I can see why.
