good luck, it's a worthwhile journey.
transmutation is real too btw, my life got better when i stopped. i realized that as much as i enjoyed s***and the feeling of being desired, after a certain point, it gets stale. and the worst part is someone usually ends up catching feelings. i'm not a robot, it's hard for me to separate s***and intimacy. that's when i realized deep down i just wanted the intimacy anyway and that s***was waaaay better with someone who is really down for you. after that i accepted s***would never fill this void so i worked on loving myself which sounds corny but is a big part of this journey, bc you realize wasting your seed is only hurting you. you become lethargic, lazy, unmotivated. semen retention was life changing for me. and the whole thing about female attraction, all i have to say is when you are in control of your life, the idea of "attracting a woman" is f***ing easy man. she should want to be in your life, you're the f***ing man.
i'm hindu, and in our scripts they talk about our sperm as being a life force, and that when we procreate, we give up some of our own life force to create a new life. i believe there is some (or a lot) of truth in what they're saying. you may not find a study on it on pubmed but all I have to say about that is a lot of people benefit when you're fat and lazy. p***hub, fast food, other convenience products. they want customers for life. i'm glad you're trying to break the cycle now and for anyone else that is reading this - hit my line whenever.
