Pardon the unnecessarily dramatic post it’s just been a while since I woke up feeling this s*** & this place kinda helps

It’s been like 6 years since I fell this s***. Back then I was kicked out of dorms in a country I’ve been in for a year & on the verge of being kicked out of uni. Really fukin hated everything bout my life at that point & I promised myself I won’t fuk up again

Today I wake up to news that a restaurant I opened literally when this b****ass pandemic started got hit with a $7k fine cause the inspector found an alcohol bottle in one of the employees bags (it’s not allowed here) . I was literally squeezing every single penny I got to keep this afloat & its barely moving. The only bit of money I had for surviving I wired it back home cause they needed it urgently.

I have to literally muster up $30k in the next 3 months to keep this thing afloat. & the system is so fuked here that I’ve been in court for 2 months to get money off of 2 clients who refuse to pay just for the fuk of it. But my landlord is threatening legal action & am getting thrown in jail expeditiously if I don’t pay up. Like how tf does this even work bro.

If I don’t close this thing down am either gonna get my ass locked up somehow or end up homeless by the turn of the year. But I’ve literally worked my ass off for 2.5 years 14 hrs a day just to scramble up some capital to open it & hopefully have some cash to pull some of the ppl back home out of that place. Life’s a real b**** man it’s been trash since I started this project a year ago. idk wat to do tbh my phones going off since the morning & ive been glued to the bed waiting for idk wat.

It’s funny cause in ur head it’s always gonna magically work itself out. But sometimes u just gotta take the L

  • That f***ing sucks man covid and a $7k fine that isn't fair

The fact that you opened your own restaurant in the first place is f***ing amazing to me. This some bs, idk but it might help going public with your story. I have confidence in your ability to overcome based on the evidence in your story regardless of how this turns out. cute dog btw also change title cause you not giving up

really appreciate the words bro. from everyone. but i really cant keep pushing through this. we are barely making $100 sales per day and i need atleast $500/day to break-even so ive been basically pumping money into it the past 4 months. ive already burned through my contingency capital cause one of the contractors fuked me over and this whole thing is mentally crippling me from even doing my actual job. i'd be happy if i can just sell it and recoup even half the investment capital but no ones buying s*** these days so am walking out empty handed p much

i trust your judgement. sometimes pressure is good cause it allows us to know how we want to live or when we need to take the next step in life, take that as you will. you know you've been treated unfairly even if others around you have not noticed, they're not paying attention like you are. stay safe

am tryna work out if i can twist it somehow to put the employee liable cause then its only around $1.5k fine so ill be able ot pay that in around a weeks time and cut a percentage out of his salary for the next 8-10 months (if i even make it that long tbh)
