Not a bad song but kind of got memed to death and is at the awkward stage where it’s old enough to be dated but not old enough to be a suitable “throwback”. Whoever was on the aux probably wears snapbacks and it reflects poorly on you OP

Then maybe it just aged too poorly to be a good one. Idk what age group is listening to much 2012 music as throwbacks yet, it doesn’t sound nostalgic, it’s mostly just worse versions of what’s out today. Swimming Pools is another song that could never be a throwback because it’s too corny
