Started in regards to today’s live stream. Then went back to the last time it was this bad... TMZ. His meaning? The idea that slavery “ended” blinds us to the fact that people are still slaves, not racially but to capitalism. Black people never got true reparations. The many work to fund the few. We’re all living life as though were are in a simulation and can’t truly graduate from being NPCs to protagonists until we break out of the simulation (Wreck it Ralph references from years ago).

Obviously Harriet Tubman freed slaves, but in a way nobody did and we are all slaves and we are slaves to social media and internet and “culture” and too focused on the past to start building a better future (global warming, wealth inequality, racism, mass incarceration, murder- ALL THEMES ON THE YANDHI LEAKS). He also discusses the Harriet on the $20 back during the CtG interview. We know Big Sean was into Deepak Chopra (Seven Spiritual Laws of Success) and the theory of the Law of Attraction and Eastern Hindu philosophies (Gandhi = Yandhi). The idea that you act with positivity and love and passion and do what feels right- everything will fall into place. Some of those ideologies overlap with religion: Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad.

He tries to follow these tenants of doing good and giving back. He acts positively and directly. He says how he feels and acts directly and without hesitation. He was moved by Trump’s initial energy. He spoke his mind. He was crucified. His friends turned his back on him. The media took sound bites and manufactured a smear campaign. If the Uganda incident is to be believed, he almost died. He experienced fear multiple times. Since turning to religion for solace, he has seen blessing and attributes it to religion. All the while he’s struggling with extremely high highs and depressingly low lows.

He’s back on high now, super energetic, very opinionated, all over the media and twitter, wearing a bullet proof vest, spending money on a campaign that will get expensive, likely threatening partnerships with Adidas and Gap- the man could lose it all. He’s talking about simulations, breaking the system, thou shalt not kill... all Yandhi s***. Promised an album that we know is at least SOMEWHERE in the process of being finished. We are right back where we started: it’s 2018 all over again.
