So that's apparently what was "thought" because of the idea that your 'prefrontal cortex is fully formed at 25'. However the studies that supposedly 'supported' this are flawed entirely; The test subjects that they used ended at 25 years old; so the sampling method was incorrect in the first place.

Then there were also subjects that were as young as 21 years old that had a 'fully formed prefrontal cortex'. Along with that too, the arguments that you're 'not fully an adult' because you don't have a fully formed prefrontal cortex doesn't mean that people 'can't make rational decisions' is entirely wrong.

The only reason that this became a thing was:

1. Overly obsessive pop culture fans would constantly misquote this study so for example; Billie Eilish "can't consent" to dating someone about 9 years older because she's "not an adult and does not understand rational decisions".

2. People are just cucked by the agepill and don't want to grow up and take responsibility for their actions.
