Funeral era Wayne (D6-Present) is so different from old Weezy but so dope still if you a real fan.

plus his media visibility in this Funeral era is so much more than in the past couple of years.

D6 — Funeral has some of Weezy's best flows & rhyme schemes. Wayne is a f***ing monster.

Great album Imo from the rapping standpoint, dude's a monster. I do get where folks are coming from when they say it sounds like a mixtape though. I do wish dude would just avoid doing songs like the one with The Dream & Never Mind, that and, if hooks aren't his thing, just forget them.

honestly if his team was savvy they would tap into the mixtape nostalgia and make him release streaming projects in the format of freestyles on fresh beats.

He can start a whole new series called nostalgia.

Nah, I don't like this voice or the beats he's using. Bring the robot voice back.

Some good songs on it but cant say I love it

His punchlines not hittin like they used 2...last song I felt like he killed was M’s with ASAP. I remember it was a time where I couldn’t WAIT to hear that lighter flick!!!
Idk after IANAHB2 he just fell off 2 me😢😢😢

funeral is a great album i just can’t get into it tbh. great rapping decent production on most tracks but at this point i’m craving something with substance from wayne. a whole project of songs like let it work out, etc

I mean... C5 & FWA lol

C5 is too f***ing bloated and it doesn't flow very well imo I couldn't even finish the album on first listen
I tried relistening to FWA last week before Funeral came out and it's worse than I remember it being so many mid songs on it
Both these projects aren't structured very good imo they just feel like a collection of songs

Now listen to C4 how it goes from the Intro to Blunt Blown >MegaMan>6 Foot 7 Foot that's what I'm talking about

All facts op Funeral gets better with each listen. I think people not giving it a real chance because how long it is.
