Craziest part about all that is the only reason Charlamagne got away with that is because the mother of the rape victim wouldn't let the trial go on or something to that effect, the victim was younger than 18 so the parent/legal guardian had control over how that s*** went.

The case was basically thrown out and Charlamagne has been acting like he legitimately beat the case and that he isn't a rapist since then. But the victim has been tryna get justice for it for years, which is why the story keeps popping up every now and then.

I think because the original case was settled/thrown out Charlamagne is "in the clear" and can't be charged with it again from the same victim. The mother had control so she basically chose to drop it.

I think the context of him saying he raped the girl is when he was denying it by saying that the victim chose to drop it. Knowing that the victim didn't choose to drop it, her mother did and they moved out of the state, and she has been tryna get justice for it for years.
