metIf Drake was a p****/lacking confidence and was writing sharp raps why did he shake the hip hop game with TML/SFG? He dropped Take Care and it was done, solidified himself in hip hop history. He had all those traits, I do admit, he was more mature on NWTS. Take Care still has an argument over NWTS in terms of pen/mic presence tho.

he showed promise. and he was unique. those are excellent starting points for an all
time artist.but he got better. and one of the ways he really got better was RAPPING.
if you think he’s been peaking at rap since SFG, ok that’s your opinion, but it’s wrong. I think Drake himself will tell you he improved at rapping after Take Care.
